My client, a small, friendly CPA firm in Duluth, GA has a newly created opportunity for an Audit Senior to join them. This individual will support the execution of audits for clients in a variety of industries, including construction, manufacturing, and non profits.


The Senior Auditor will also enjoy INCREDIBLE work/life balance! This includes a 40 hour work week and working fully remote (after an initial training period onsite).


What you will do:

  • Audit Execution: Assist in planning, executing, and completing audit engagements.
  • Detailed Procedures: Conduct detailed audit procedures across various financial statement areas.
  • Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments and identify opportunities for enhancing client operations.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with client personnel to gather information and address audit-related queries.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain professional relationships with client staff.
  • Documentation: Prepare accurate working papers documenting audit procedures and findings.
  • Compliance: Ensure all audit documentation meets firm standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Skills: Apply technical expertise to perform and review audit work, including analytical procedures and substantive testing.
  • Audit Tools: Utilize audit software and tools efficiently to streamline audit processes.
  • Reporting: Assist in preparing audit reports and financial statements.
  • Communication: Provide clear and concise summaries of audit findings and recommendations.


Your Experience:

  • Experience: 2+ years of audit experience in a CPA firm preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with audit software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data and identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey audit findings effectively.
  • Team Player: Capable of working collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Organization: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail to ensure thorough documentation and efficient workflow.
