Senior Auditor

One of my top CPA firms is looking to bring on a Audit Senior. The partners are a mix from big and small firms and they like to hire based on technical skills, they have great mentors and a leadership program. This firm doesn’t have politics, which will be a refreshing work environment. They didn’t have any layoffs due to COVID and have continued to hire.

The firm promotes a work-life balance with the current environment of working from home they embrace being able to take a walk during the day, log-off to be with your family and not check emails on the weekends. They also have social hours and workout classes that you can log onto remotely.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex audit engagements in accordance with firm and professional standards, within budget and deadline expectations
• Identify and respond to client issues in a timely, accurate, positive and professional manner.
• Participate in and provide leadership for firm initiatives and projects
• Plan and schedule engagements with clients and firm resources
• Communicate proactively with clients and engagement partners regarding project status, client service opportunities, and other significant matters in a timely manner
• Provide training, direction, and supervision to staff, senior accountants, and managers

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience within external audit
• BS and/or Masters in Accounting.
• Superb communications skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Able to problem solve and think both creatively and logically.
• Strong tax research skills.

The annual base salary range is $80,000 to $125,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
