Senior Audit Manager (up to $200k base)

Audit Manager or Senior Manager Audit Manager (CPA / Public Accounting Firm):

• Candidates must have 5 or more years of recent, or current experience working for a CPA firm to be considered. While Energy sector experience would be great, it is not a requirement*

Location and Work Arrangement:

• Office located in Canton, MA
• Onsite presence required 1-2 days per week (flexible for those residing over 30 miles away for 1 day onsite/week)

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $120,000 - $200,000+ (higher base possible for exceptional candidates)
• Bonus: 10% annual bonus

Role Description: As an Audit Manager or Senior Audit Manager (CPA Firm), you will provide top-tier consulting and compliance support across various industries. This role involves managing multiple audits, reviews, compilations, and client engagements from planning through final review. Exposure includes diverse sectors such as energy, architecture, engineering, construction, life sciences, and technology.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary contact
• Provide business improvement recommendations and act as a business advisor to clients
• Resolve potential issues through appropriate research and consulting
• Mentor, coach, and train staff, contributing to departmental training programs
• Handle client billing and assist with collection efforts
• Conduct formal training seminars for staff
• Engage in practice development opportunities and cross-sell to existing and new clients
• Participate in recruitment, employee performance management, and business development

Required Experience:

• CPA with 5+ years of progressive experience in a CPA firm
• BS in Accounting, MS, or MBA preferred
• Flexibility to adjust schedule during peak workload times
