Senior Associate or Vice President, Leveraged Finance

The role will be based in Houston or Los Angeles with the expectation of a hybrid work model.

PineBridge Investments’ US Leveraged Finance Research team is looking to add a member at the Senior Associate or Vice President level. As AUM and market complexity increase, there is a need for a new Research Analyst to cover a portfolio of investments and monitor issuers for potential inclusion.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Make investment recommendations across a range of high yield and leverage loan investment opportunities
  • Supervise credit profile and performance of issuers in assigned universe
  • Ability to make clear and concise credit presentations to credit committee and portfolio management
  • Contribute to industry reviews within allocated sectors
  • Maintain research in credit monitoring systems and respond to ad-hoc requests

Qualifications:

  • Independent thinker with a strong sense of initiative who can balance conviction and flexibility
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate investment recommendations
  • Resilient, standout colleague with a collaborative spirit
  • 5+ years of experience analyzing credit investments such as leveraged loans and/or high yield bonds or equivalent experience at an investment bank
  • Distressed debt experience a plus
  • MBA or CFA preferred

Salary Range: $100,000-150,000 annually + bonus + benefits
