Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Associate / Vice President to join the firm’s Healthcare Investment Banking Group in New York. Our Healthcare team provides a comprehensive range of advisory services to high-growth healthcare firms with an emphasis on Healthcare Services, MedTech, and HealthTech. The successful candidate will be working closely with senior bankers gaining significant exposure to sell-side and buy-side advisory, as well as private debt and equity placements. Responsibilities at England are less rigid and more entrepreneurial than at other firms.
We are focused on hiring candidates with genuine potential and interest for advancement within our firm. This role will be supported by comprehensive mentorship efforts and strong career path growth to the Managing Director level.

Key Responsibilities
Work directly with senior bankers in all facets of business, including originations, transaction evaluation, and deal execution
Lead preparation of client presentations and offering memoranda for M&A transactions, private financings, restructurings, and other projects
Actively participate in transaction execution, including due diligence, with significant client interaction
Conduct a wide variety of quantitative analyses, including DCF, LBO, comparable transaction and accretion/dilution analysis
Monitor relevant transactions, capital market trends, company financial statements, industry, regulatory, and other economic information
Ensure the quality of client deliverables by having a strong attention to detail
Oversee and mentor junior staff members at the firm
Requirements
Qualified candidates will exhibit the following:
4+ years of experience at a highly regarded investment bank is required
Transaction experience in healthcare industry is preferred, but not required
Strong interest in gaining domain expertise in US healthcare industry, including medtech and healthcare services
Strong financial modeling, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint skills are essential
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Elevated attention to detail and consistency in work product
Organized and proactive, with an ability to operate in an environment of rapidly changing priorities
Strong work ethic and team player
Bachelor’s degree from top-tier university; MBA degree in finance or accounting is preferred
Series 79 and 63 licenses preferred
