The Senior Art Director, Collection & Licensees partners with the Agency Creative Director and Head of Art and Image, Luxury in the creation development of all content and advertising assigned brands for compelling global campaigns. This role is based around the inception, production and execution of the marketing and advertising communications that live across multiple platforms and channels globally.

This role partners with stakeholders across Social and Design to ensure that Luxury creative work represents cross functional intention across concept, production, post, and launch.

The position reports to the Head of Art and Image, Luxury and will touch all communication channels including but (not limited to) digital and printadvertising, cross platform video and social media.

This position oversees an Associate Art Director of Luxury to develop quality concepts and assets that interpret Ralph Lauren’s vision across assigned brands.

  • Collaborate with Head of Art and Image, Luxury, project managers and other cross functional departments to create a range of brand content and campaign deliverables.
  • Confidently lead the development and delivery of content campaigns across multiple touch points.
  • Work with Creative Leadership to refine concept presentation documents, including but not limited to photo and video direction, graphic design, and third-party creative collaboration.
  • Confidently lead a high volume of photo and video productions, interacting with internal and external partners with clarity and professionalism.
  • Ensure that all projects are within deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Lead on set production.
  • Follow through with content post-production across dynamic deliverables.
  • Manage retouching to a high standard and taste level.
  • Contribute to a strong culture based on creative excellence and achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Proactively solicit feedback from Creative Director, Agency, Head of Art and Image, Luxury and Luxury team; implement solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Manage, motivate, and support direct report in development, exposure, and education.

Salary range: $162,500 - $282,500 annually

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Seasoned professional with experience in a best in class in house or independent, digital creative Agency; experience in a senior role.
  • Strong knowledge of fashion and key contributors in the industry (talent, photographers, etc.)
  • Experience commissioning and working with photography – from initial concept references to final execution.
  • Competence working with video – from developing treatments to working with DPs, directors, editors and motion designers.
  • Expert understanding of customer experience advertising, marketing, and e-commerce.
  • Ability to promote creative solutions and new ideas with an innovative lens.
  • Ability to build relationships to influence concept development and experience design through creative teams while working collaboratively with other functions in the company.
  • A natural curiosity and self-learning approach to stay current with the rapid changes in digital and internet technologies to create innovative and differentiated experiences across platform.
  • Strong Photoshop, InDesign and keynote skills; working knowledge of other current design applications.
  • Some experience with Ai (Illustrator) and Premiere and After Effect.
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skill.
  • Excellent understanding of typography.
  • Significant experience working with retouching
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong time management and ability to multitask.
  • High level of conceptual thinking - strategic thinker as well as doer.
  • Appreciation and/or understanding of Ralph Lauren sensibility.
