Hire Resolve's client is a leading Architecture and planning firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Senior Architect in New York, NY.
Responsibilities:
Maintain /develop relationships with key client personnel for client satisfaction
Manage all aspects of client relations including attending meetings
Makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have an important impact on extensive architectural activities
Key role in development of projects, from scope phase through construction documents and services during construction administration
Ability to demonstrate creativity, foresight and mature architectural judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented architectural problems
Determine compliance with technical documents, SCA specific standards, NYC codes and all remaining AHJ requirements (MTA, DEP, FDNY, etc.)
Involved in the analysis of client problems in conceiving and developing architectural solutions to those problems
Perform other like duties as assigned
Requirements
10+ years of architectural design experience
Extensive knowledge of Architectural Design
Exceptional knowledge of AutoCAD
Exposure to Revit and other BIM software
SCA experience is required
The ability to work and thrive in a team environment
Knowledge of project specifications & CSI division formatting
Strong organizational, time management & multitasking skills
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Bachelor's degree in Architecture required. Master's preferred
Professional RA required.
LEED accreditation a plus
