Senior Application Systems Analyst/Tester

Lawelawe Defense is seeking a Senior Application Systems Analyst/Tester. Under general direction, the Senior Application Systems Analyst carries out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements.

Role And Responsibilities

• You will perform and lead tests of software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.
• May be involved in creating test data for applications.
• Documents and works to resolve all complex problems.
• Reports progress on problem resolution to management.
• Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations.
• Acts as information resource about assigned areas to technical writers and other Quality Assurance Analysts.
• Performs complex workflow analysis and recommends quality improvements.
• Responsible for performing diagnostic tests on computer systems and applications, measuring its performance and efficiency, and recommending technical solutions as needed.
• Coordinates with the technology team in improving the user interface, including navigation and server stability.
• Assist in system configuration and network infrastructure, ensuring that the deliverables meet the business requirements and project specifications.
• Ensure test runs and results within the given time frame.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate software functionality against requirements and specifications.
• Identify, report and track software defects and issues.
• Perform functional, performance, security and regression testing of software products.
• Report test results and defects to the development team and other stakeholders and work on their resolution.
• Provide suggestions and feedback to improve the quality of the software development process across teams.
• Stay updated with the latest testing tools, techniques, and methodologies.
• Aim to ensure the highest quality of our CRM software by developing and executing tests to detect and report any errors in the product.
• Develop suitable testing plans and frameworks that align with our customers.
• Responsible for coordinating several functions and teams to incorporate necessary product changes.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; Collaborating with programmers, other team members, and stakeholders, as well as for suggesting and implementing revisions to the style guide.

• You have excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
• Strong attention to detail and vigilant in identifying and tracking defects.
• Proficiency in testing tools such as JIRA, JAVA, Test Scripts, Regression, Python, C++, RF, Selenium, Appium, and other testing frameworks to develop and execute tests.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL), Software Engineer Master Certification (SEMC), Certified Manger of Software testing (CMST), Certified Software Tester (CSTE), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Planning Engineer (CPE).
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 15+ years experience in a matrixed, high-functioning environment working as a Senior Application Systems Analyst, Senior Software Tester or similar; experience must be coupled with a Bachelor of Science in a related field; 10+ years experience with a Master of Science in a related field preferred
• Minimum of 5+ years experience in roles requiring strong skills in Software Testing, Quality Assurance or similar roles in a SaaS or Tech Consultancy business
• Black Belt Certification (Six Sigma) required
• Active Secret clearance required
• Must be a US Citizen
