We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to play a role in the overall growth of our Insurnace Organization, owning policy and agent commission data, regular reporting, and the answering of strategic questions.
A strong candidate is comfortable analyzing data, collaborating with non-technical stakeholders, proactively flagging problematic trends, owning processes end-to-end, and effectively communicating findings and recommendations.
Responsibilities
Own the management and development of our policy and agent commission data.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the agency to turn data into actionable insights through recurring reports and strategic projects.
Proactively identify and implement process and reporting solutions to improve data quality, increase the productivity of our agent teams, and help the organization be data-informed in our decision-making.
Support-related functions, including workforce management, revenue operations, and financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
Requirements
Proficiency with modern data solutions (EX: Looker/Tableau/Power BI) and Excel/Google Sheets.
Strong business acumen and critical thinking to make sense of and bring logic to data
Ability to turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into concrete action plans
Ability to communicate with empathy and precision to gain alignment with internal stakeholders
Experience working in a fast-paced environment, where things can change quickly as we rapidly grow
Comfortable becoming a subject matter expert in our data and tools, with the ability to investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues identified by a variety of operational stakeholders
Strong collaborative skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences
Prior experience in the insurance industry is a plus
