Key Responsibilities
Offer expert advice to Deputy Directors on mission support matters, including policy impact, administrative rules, compliance, and enforcement mechanisms.
Conduct in-depth research and provide expert consultation on regulatory impact analysis to the Director and Deputy Directors through briefings and written documents.
Provide recommendations on how mission activities, program goals, and strategic objectives can be best applied to enhance organizational effectiveness.
Evaluate program efficiencies, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations for streamlining processes and consolidating workstreams.
Engage in outreach activities to stakeholders, media relations, and special initiatives aimed at maximizing the impact of organizational mission activities and strategic objectives.
Education And Experience
Minimum educational requirement is a law degree (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school or a Master’s degree from an accredited university, along with four years of specialized experience in a health or human services related field.
Alternatively, a combination of education and experience may be considered, provided the experience is equivalent to four years specialized experience at the GS-15 level in the Federal Government.
