The Senior Admissions Advisor steers prospective students through the admissions lifecycle, starting their journey in cannabis. Then, we strive to support them in any way we can, encouraging them to make a difference in the industry.

Principal Duties:

  • Utilize our enterprise, student-centered approach as a prospect's first point of contact and guide them through our admissions process.
  • Demonstrate a high level of program knowledge to assist students and deliver personalized, superior, branded communications through video, phone, email, and text.
  • Listen, listen, listen. You are here to make admissions qualification decisions and enroll students. We're looking for the right fit - not just to fill classes.
  • Promote our culture of compliance and carefully follow the compliance, regulatory, and procedural processes.
  • Ongoing effort to support and contribute to Cannavision’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Demonstrates sensitivity and ability to effectively relate to and work with prospective students from diverse backgrounds.

  • Host open houses, recruitment events, school events, and industry events as the role (and your interests) dictate.
  • Flexible to work evening and weekend shifts as your team needs to achieve its goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of admissions experience, with a proven track of success meeting and exceeding goals; and the references to back it up!
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work remotely and independently and collaborate as part of a high-performance team
  • Ability to use outlines (not scripts!), make them your own, apply your strong work ethic, and help the team evolve them over time
  • Proficiency with any CRM system (we'll teach you ours!)
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to travel to our corporate offices in New Hope, PA as the job dictates
  • Open to a hybrid role, remote-first, but in commutable distance to New Hope, PA- a strong plus
  • This is a remote-first role, and your home office needs to be conducive to a traditional work environment. You need a quiet, comfortable space to concentrate and perform, with a desk that accommodates multiple monitors, an Elgato light and webcam mounted to the back of your desk, and an Elgato green screen MT behind you (all of which we will provide). You will need a hard-wired, fiber internet connection- not a home Wi-Fi router- which means you must plug an ethernet cable (we provide) into your router to accommodate high-speed video and the Cannavision premium user experience.
