Senior Accounting Manager, GL

We are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager, GL to work for our client. The ideal candidate will align with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the monthly and quarterly close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Manage a team of accountants responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and other accounting functions
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and other accounting standards and regulations
• Lead the implementation of new accounting policies and procedures, including revenue recognition and others as applicable
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
• Manage the preparation and review of financial statements and other external reporting requirements
• Partner with external auditors to ensure compliance with audit requirements and timely completion of the annual audit
• Develop and maintain relationships with external accounting firms and vendors
• Develop and maintain internal controls and policies to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting
• Provide accounting guidance and support to business partners and cross-functional teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 7+ years of experience in accounting
• 3+ years of experience managing a team of accountants
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and other accounting standards and regulations
• Experience with complex accounting issues, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, and business combinations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
