Job Purpose
We are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our team, focusing on supporting financial planning and analysis for our products and operations. This role will also involve hands-on accounting tasks, including month and year-end closings, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger reviews across multiple QuickBooks files.
Base Salary
$75,000 - $85,000
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develop budgets and forecasts in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Partner with Operations, Marketing, Technology, and Business Development teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Prepare and present financial analyses to support various business initiatives.
Assist the controller in managing daily financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, payroll reporting, and capital assets reporting.
Perform intercompany reconciliations and consolidations.
Analyze accounting data and contribute to the production of financial statements.
Establish and maintain accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Drive improvements in financial systems and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven ability to manage full-cycle planning and budgeting processes.
Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop), PowerBI, and MS Office, with advanced Excel skills for financial reporting and analysis.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and uncompromising integrity.
Ability to articulate business issues and recommendations confidently.
Thorough understanding of US GAAP and technical accounting principles.
Comfortable working in a dynamic, small company environment.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA license or relevant experience preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a combination of public accounting, industry accounting, and financial analysis roles.
