Job description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records, ensuring compliance with accepted policies and procedures, and providing strategic financial guidance based on financial data. With your expertise in general ledger and financial statements, you will play a crucial role in our organization's financial operations, contributing to our long-term financial success.

The Sr. Accountant's responsibilities include maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting with budget and close processes, conducting internal audits, and maintaining accounts payable documentation. They will assist leadership with information requests and support internal and external audit processes.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage month-end close process Perform general ledger balance sheet reconciliations Lead and contribute to projects focused on streamlining the Company’s accounting close and reporting processes, improving overall financial controls
  • Prepare audit schedules for financial audit and management reports as needed
  • Support monitoring and collecting of past due accounts receivable
  • Assist in annual insurance process
  • Assist in various operations related analysis including but not limited to KPI’s, COGS analysis, margin analysis, ROI calculations, capacity utilization, etc
  • Department projects and other duties as assigned
  • Oversee a staff of 3

Educational/Other Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 3+ years of senior level accounting experience
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills and ability to multi-task
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Work, Outlook, QuickBooks, and NetSuite
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
