Senior Accountant

Vaco is actively searching for a Senior Accountant for a reputable and stable company headquartered in Richmond, VA. Please reach out if you would like to hear more about this fantastic opportunity! The role is onsite 4 days a week. Salary is 75 - 90k.

General Responsibilities:

• Perform Month-end and year-end close
• Prepare financial statements
• Analyze financial information and financial status
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with GAAP Principles
• Develop and document processes and procedures to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Assist with audits to ensure compliance
• Special projects as needed

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of general ledger accounting experience
• BS in Accounting
• CPA or CPA Candidate a plus
