Overview:

We are in search of a highly skilled and dynamic Senior Accountant to take charge of our month-end closing processes, with a focus on General Ledger (GL) and Gross Margin (GM) functions. This role is instrumental in maintaining the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of our day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring adherence to US GAAP, and executing month-end transactions and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will possess a robust accounting background, a comprehensive understanding of US GAAP, and a proven ability to manage month-end closes within a dynamic business environment.



Responsibilities:

  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Reconcile and analyze key balance sheet and income statement accounts, identifying and addressing discrepancies.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements and reports to communicate the financial status of the organization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
  • Stay current on US accounting standards and regulations, ensuring adherence to best practices.



Required Skills & Qualifications (must-haves):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA) is highly preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in accounting roles, with a focus on GL and GM areas.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • High degree of integrity and ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
