Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Spearhead the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial tasks.
• Manage 5 team members within the Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Department after successful onboarding period.
• Prepare financial reporting packages in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct detailed analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with the Company's external auditors in completing the annual financial audit.
• Assist the Controller by collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline businesses processes and enhance efficiency.
• Support projects dedicated to system upgrades / implementations.
• Maintain adherence to internal controls and accounting best practices.
• Provide support during external and internal audits.
• Stay updated on accounting principles, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Ad hoc tasks or analysis as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required
• 3+ years’ experience in an accounting role. Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Experience with ERP Systems (SAP preferred).
• Proficient knowledge of Excel.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment.
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
