Spotless Brands is a car wash conglomerate owned by Access Holdings with the stated mission of partnering with best-in-class car wash operators in premium markets. We are a fast-paced, high-growth, private equity-backed business that is highly acquisitive and rapidly expanding its geographic footprint. The role will have a high level of visibility to the VP and C-suite levels of the company.

Headquartered in Oakbrook Terrace, Spotless Brands operates 4 different car wash brands across 148 locations in 8 states and Washington D.C. Spotless Brands owns and operates Phoenix/Colorado-based CobbleStone Auto Spa, Oklahoma City-based Okie Express Auto Wash, Washington D.C based Flagship Car Wash, and Tennessee-based Ultimate Shine Car Wash.

Position Overview

Prepare and review financial day-to-day general accounting documents, reports, and statements ensuring that all business transactions are reported in accordance with GAAP principles. Oversee accounting procedures and advise on general finance matters.

Essential Functions

• Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger.
• Reconcile bank, credit card and other billing statements.
• Maintain accurate and complete accounting records and files.
• Assist with the month-end close (adjusting journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, etc.)
• Perform monthly account analysis and reconciliations.
• Research and analyze expense variances for company management.
• Assist with the annual audit process including preparing the draft of the financial statements and related notes.
• Assist with establishing, modifying, documenting, and coordinating the implementation of accounting control procedures/processes.
• Assist other departments and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience in lieu of education
• 3+ years of professional accounting experience including substantial exposure to monthly closing processes
• organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines.
• analytical mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills; Expert spreadsheet abilities
• Knowledge of accounting systems; experience with Sage Intacct a plus
• Ability to work with confidential information with maturity and integrity.
• Ability to thrive in fact-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
