Oversee all General Accounting functions and budgets for multiple corporate entities.
Perform corporate bank account reconciliations and present them to Executive Management.
Post and maintain Journal Entries and review financial statements, providing detailed analyses to Executive Management.
Manage the recording of all corporate banking transactions and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare documents and assist external accountants with audits and bank-related audits.
Process monthly sales commission calculations and submit them to Department Managers.
Requirements
BS or BA degree in Accounting from an accredited four-year university.
5+ years of General Accounting experience.
Previous experience in a multi-entity corporate setting; experience in the apparel industry is highly preferred.
Proficient in GL Accounting, Journal Entry, month-end close, and balance sheet analysis.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and work both independently and within a team.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to adapt to shifting priorities with consistent accuracy.
Strong organizational skills and experience with intercompany transactions.
Prior experience with Accounting software implementation.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Dyn GP, and/or other ERP software programs.
