Senior Accountant

Position Overview:

As a Senior Accountant at Premier Health Group, you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations, analyzing budgets, preparing P&L statements, and utilizing Quickbooks to maintain accurate financial records. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Developing and managing budgets for various departments and projects within the healthcare sector.
• Analyzing financial data and preparing detailed P&L statements to ensure the financial health of the organization.
• Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including invoicing, billing, and collections, while adhering to healthcare industry billing regulations.
• Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Utilizing accounting software to record transactions, reconcile accounts, and generate financial reports tailored to the healthcare sector.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including medical professionals, administrators, and executives to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
• Performing financial risk assessments and doing internal audits.
• Assisting with financial audits and providing necessary documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency in healthcare financial management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting roles, with a focus on budgeting and P&L analysis, preferably within the healthcare industry.
• Proficiency in Desktop Quickbooks and other accounting software commonly used in healthcare settings.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, particularly in healthcare financial analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment and manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
• CPA certificate is preferred but not required.
