Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. They are a family-owned business that operates in five independent business units. Their core services provide solutions for suppliers of grain, feed ingredients, and food ingredients on a global scale. In addition, they have a unit specifically dedicated to buying, selling, engineering, and manufacturing of concrete and steel products, as well as contract manufacturing and powder coating services worldwide.
What are the minimum qualifications?
In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
Proven expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Hands-on experience with general ledger maintenance and account reconciliation.
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost integrity.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; a Master's degree and CPA certification are preferred.
Experience in the manufacturing or construction industry is a significant advantage.
