This position is responsible for preparation of financial statements and management reports, maintaining accounting/financial systems, conducting research and analysis of financial data and assisting with annual planning.
Responsibilities
● Help lead the month end close process, including journal entry preparation related to transactions: Investment Entries, Loans, Monthly Accruals, Expense & Revenue Recognition, Equity & Stock, Intercompany Settlement and Elimination Entries.
● Prepare month end account reconciliations including documentation and workpaper support
● Responsible for Daily Cash and Suspense Reconciliations including investigating and resolving suspense items
● Assist with developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures in accordance with accounting standards and regulations
● Maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of financial statements, footnotes and disclosures as well as periodic regulatory filings
● Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with GAAP
● Identify opportunities to streamline the accounting process and drive process improvements
