What Would You Do As a Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant at Journey Group, you will play a crucial role in our financial operations by overseeing month-end reporting, ensuring accuracy in the general ledger, and supporting the Accounting Director and Controller in financial reporting tasks. ARE YOU A GOOD FIT FOR THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT POSITION?

To excel as a Senior Accountant at Journey Group, you should possess an associate degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 3 years of accounting and finance experience. Previous accounting experience in the construction industry is highly beneficial. The ability to proactively take charge of projects, demonstrate initiative, and work independently are key qualities we seek in a candidate. While holding a CPA/CMA license is preferred, a strong foundation in financial principles and a commitment to accuracy and detail are essential for success in this role.
