What we’re looking for: Senior Account Executive, Media Strategy


What you bring to the table: As an integral member of the team, this person will be responsible for supporting media strategy development, as well as media relations work across all Consumer Brands accounts. We are looking for an ambitious and results-driven individual with experience in creative storytelling that can help teams pinpoint the narrative needed for media. The ideal candidate is a true team player with the ability to move projects quickly effectively, and with excellence.

Responsibilities:

· Media strategy development, including, but not limited to the following: assisting with program and presentation development for existing clients and new prospects, creation of target media outlet lists, regularly drafting pitch angles, ensuring proper product assets are in place for media, managing pitch team on all outreach efforts.

· Media material development, including writing press releases, fact sheets, pitch letters, case studies and other media materials in accordance to AP style.

· Actively engaged in current trends and movements regarding brands within the social and earned media, and influencer spaces.

· Development and oversight of strategic national and local media lists and corresponding media outreach to national, local and trade editors on behalf of our clients.

· Leading daily and weekly monitoring of media for news and information about our clients, including maintaining trackers and overarching client and campaign metrics across PR, influencer and social, as well as support aggregating and merchandising results in monthly and/or quarterly reports.

· Actively participating / leading internal and client meeting conversations relating to earned media efforts, taking notes and managing team members on immediate next steps.

· Vetting partnership opportunities and conducting audit on why they may or may not be a fit.

· Support with planning and executing tactical elements of client programs from start to finish, including longer-range project support and day-to-day assignments that support client activities.

· Brainstorm against new requests and challenges. Whether it’s for a small client idea or a new business opportunity, we challenge everyone to come to the table with new ways of thinking.


Preferred Qualifications:

· 3-5 years of previous experience in Public Relations agency or in-house and a B.A. in Public Relations, Communications or a related discipline

· Previous communications experience with food & beverage, alcohol or luxury / premium brand work being an asset

· Excellent communication skills, dynamic, team player, excellent time management and organizational skill

· Solid media relations and excellent writing and communications skills

· Ability to work in a collaborative, creative, entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment

· Wide experience with media platforms such as Cision, Muck Rack and News Exposure

· Passionately committed to collaboration


Compensation Range: $58,500-$92,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
