We are looking for a Senior Account Executive with a strong understanding of the complex science behind our clients’ products and issues, who has the ability to concisely communicate that powerful story to a wide range of audiences in mind, including health care professionals, patients, consumers, media, KOLs and the general public. This candidate will have experience working within the health, science and consumer space, and support the account team leads to ensure client goals are met by executing a variety of activities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, including materials development, social media/influencer campaign implementation, landscape and KOL research, and medical meeting/events preparation, coordination and execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Account Executive will be a key player of the account team and will work independently to manage parts of the overall program/project for the client.
Oversee client background research, review reports on client outcomes and have the ability to assist in client meetings.
Relationship building with stakeholders and reporters will be key as the Senior Account Executive will assist in shaping the client’s news story through media pitches and key media as needed.
Assisting with the development of current client and new business program yearly plans, meeting/milestone plans and budgets.
Engaging with client contact regarding program oversight and project implementation, overseeing media and internet monitoring on behalf of the client and agency and reviewing media outreach and event reports.
Overseeing drafting media materials; social media campaigns, including drafting content and advising on visuals; and execution of medical meetings, media tours, trade shows, conferences and other events.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Has at least 2-3 years of agency experience, including experience in healthcare and science
Possesses advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) and familiarity with social media tools (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc.)
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and carry projects from start to finish, including working with different specialty groups across the agency
Focuses on extreme attention to detail with the ability to manage complex timelines
Always exhibits a professional demeanor
Ability to excel in a team environment as well as work independently
Demonstrates resourcefulness, independent thinking, and effective problem solving
Displays excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage complex budgets and projects with multiple workstreams
The anticipated salary range for this position will be $70K-$95K. Salary is based on job-related factors such as: years of relevant experience, qualifications and/or certifications. Spectrum reserves the right to modify this pay range at any given time.
