Senior Account Director, Medical Communications, Remote

My client are seeking a dynamic Account Director who is seeking the next level in their career, to play active and authoritative role in partnering with clients and spearheading organic growth, medical education/communication plans from strategic concept development through implementation. This will be across both commerical medaffairs and publications accounts.

THE ROLE:

- Begins to lead the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes across teams to protect business against vulnerability

- Builds and maintains strong and strategic client relationships

- Organically grow existing business and hit expected targets set by Senior leaders

Identifies and seeks out new business opportunities and expansion of existing accounts Client Relations

- Successful onboarding of junior team members, monitoring their day-to-day client deliverable activities to proactively decrease/eliminate challenges

Mentors and assists career growth of junior team members

- Directs the strategic development of projects and programs

- Submits forecast of annual goals and objectives, including proposals for generating new business and business expansion activities

THE PROFILE:

- Bachelor’s degree

-Minimum of 6 years medical communication or clinician-focused healthcare marketing agency-side experience

- Domestic USA travel- appreciation for and willingness to travel

- Confident degree of authority and emotional awareness

- Strategic acumen and consultative client management experience

- Previous success leading client business coupled with the experience of encouraging and supporting direct reports

- Ability to build rapport and to work well with internal and external teams
