Our direct client is looking for a Security Monitor Consultant based out of the Austin, TX location to work a Hybrid role.

Job Description:

Key Qualifications

5+ years experience with Python

Experience using pandas with data from sources like relational databases and RESTful APIs

Experience deploying containers to Kubernetes with Spinnaker

Nice to have: Experience with data cleaning and quality monitoring

Nice to have: Experience with OpenAPI/Swagger

Nice to have: Experience creating Data Engineering patterns with frameworks like Spark, Databricks, and SQL

Description

Take on relevant projects such as:

TELEMETRY & MONITORING

Instrument existing Python code base using the Open Telemetry SDK, or similar library, to emit telemetry to Apple's internal Mosaic telemetry platform.

ALERT VALIDATION SERVICE/MANAGER (AVS/AVM) PRODUCTION DEPLOYMENT

Take the existing AVS images, currently deployed in a development environment, and deploy them to production. Apply upstream patches from the AVS development team.

DATASET VERIFICATION & INTEGRITY

Add tests and logic to existing code base to raise alerts when input and output datasets changes from the expected schema,datatypes, and constraints.

Education & Experience

A computer science or engineering degree is preferred, but not required.
