Job title: Security Guard

Location: Jacksonville. FL

Schedule: Week-ends and holidays, 8:00pm to 8:00am

Qualification:

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must demonstrate the ability to construct and write clear, concise, accurate, and detailed reports
  • Must maintain poise and self-control under stress
  • Must have all licenses required by the State of Florida to work as an Unarmed Security Guard
  • Must be physically able to perform all general duties, functions, and activities as described in the Statement of Work

Duties:

  • Meet and interact with the public in a manner that promotes a positive image of the VA
  • Patrol the cemetery by vehicle and by foot to inspect the exterior of all buildings and fencing to ensure no forced entry or vandalism
  • Scan specified locations on an hourly basis
  • Obtain professional assistance if needed in case of injury or illness on VA grounds
  • Observe suspicious personnel or those behaving inappropriately
