As a Security (Forensics) Analyst at Pierce Technology Corp, you will be responsible for investigating and analyzing security incidents, breaches, and other cyber threats. You will play a critical role in identifying, containing, and mitigating security incidents to protect the company's assets and maintain the integrity of its systems and data.
Key responsibilities:
Perform incident response activities, including containment, investigation, analysis, and remediation of security incidents
Conduct forensic investigations on compromised systems and network devices
Collect and analyze forensic evidence to identify the root cause and impact of security incidents
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and prevent future incidents
Monitor and analyze network traffic, system logs, and security event information for potential threats
Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures
Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber threats, attack techniques, and security technologies

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
Experience in incident response and handling security incidents
Knowledge of forensic analysis tools and methodologies
Strong understanding of network and system administration
Experience with log analysis and SIEM solutions
Knowledge of current cyber threats and attack techniques
Certifications such as GIAC, EnCe, or CFCE are desirable
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
High attention to detail and strong documentation skills
