Security Engineer

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in SLC, UT that is seeking a Security Engineer to join their dynamic team. They will play a critical role in safeguarding our organization's infrastructure and applications. As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating security risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and working closely with our development and infrastructure teams to implement robust security solutions. Responsibilities:

• Work with application development and infrastructure teams to provide security advice and solutions
• Administer and manage Crowdstrike
• Lead efforts to bring the organization into compliance with security frameworks
• Identify and mitigate security risks, ensuring applications and infrastructure are secure
• Conduct and improve penetration testing processes
• Collaborate with leadership to prioritize and address high/low risks
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience in Security Engineering
• Expertise bringing organizations into compliance leveraging different security frameworks (examples: CIS, NIST, etc.)
• Experience with Crowdstrike Administration
• Ability to work on both infrastructure and application security
• Experience collaborating with both infrastructure and application teams to develop solutions
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
