Security Consultant - Telework

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Security Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management, assessments, law enforcement, and criminal justice operations and training. This role requires expertise in recommending and writing organizational training and procedure documents, developing and conducting virtual training, setting guidelines for curriculum development, and training evaluation. Additionally, the Security Consultant will be responsible for evaluating risk management/assessment methodologies, preparing and conducting high-level briefings, conducting research, and preparing comprehensive reports and special studies.

Requirements

• Experience in security management, assessments, law enforcement and criminal justice operations and training.
• Experience in recommending and writing organizational training and procedure documents, developing, and conducting virtual training, setting guidelines for curriculum development and training, evaluating risk management/assessment methodology, preparing and conducting high level briefings, conducting research, preparing reports and special studies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years relevant and specialized experience and an associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Current Secret Clearance (T3-T3R) is required.
• Proficiency in using and maintaining criminal justice databases and systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Telework with 2 days a week in office in the National Capital Region (NCR) area.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
