Security and Server Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Security and Server Administrator for a direct customer in the public sector.

Location: Auburn, CA

Duration: 12 Months

Estimated pay range: 65$ - 80$ per hour per client contract and candidate skills, experience and work location.

Responsibilities

• Windows server system administration and support
• Administration and support of enterprise data backup systems
• Administration and support of enterprise virtualized environment
• Administration and support of enterprise Storage Area Network (SAN)
• Oversee the integrity and security of County networks and all related components
• Analysis and development of technology requirements
• Installation, configuring, maintenance and support of software applications, websites and mobile applications
• Prepare complex technical diagrams and system documentation
• Provide recommendations for developing and/or improving hardware, software, and/or web-based applications
• Architecting and administering secure IT system implementations, including those related to:
• Windows Server administration
• VMWare VSphere administration
• SaaS solutions with local security implications
• Enterprise Data Backup/Site Recovery solutions
• Active Directory, Group Policies, SCCM
• Azure/AWS secure IaaS server/storage/network management
  
  

Required Skills

• 10+ years or more experience in Windows system administration.
• Experience with Windows security.
• Experience in virtualized environments with tools like VMWare
• Installation, configuring, maintenance and support of software applications, websites and mobile applications
• Experience working in the Azure environment
• Experience with Rubrik and Commvault
• Knowledge and experience working with enterprise-class software distribution tools
• Experience in troubleshooting and problem diagnosis
• Effective communication (written and verbal) targeted at a wide array of audiences.
