Role Description
This is a seasonal remote volunteer role for a Writer at Cabin Fever Magazine. You will be expected to write an article by a reasonable deadline during this summer. As a Writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content that highlights various global cultures and their influence on healthcare. We aim to publish creative content, meaning we expect you to make unexpected connections to health. If you can find a way to write about peripheral artery disease and a trending pair of pants, then you are welcome to do so. You will conduct research, write articles, and work closely with our editorial team to ensure the quality, relevance, and eccentricity of the content.
Qualifications
Strong writing and storytelling skills
Ability to conduct thorough research
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in writing articles or blog posts
Knowledge of healthcare and global cultures
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and remotely
Experience in journalism, communications, or related fields is a plus

If selected to write for us in the summer, you will be considered to write again and become a Staff Writer. You will also be given priority for opening up a Cabin Fever chapter at your university.
