Seasonal Design Service Specialist

The Role

We are looking for passionate and talented designers with 2-3 years of experience to join our Design Service Team. Our Design Service Specialists help provide outstanding service to our customers through design insight and creative talent to fulfill orders and support Customer Service with design expertise. The ideal candidate is experienced in Adobe's Creative Suite (emphasis on Illustrator), extremely detail-oriented, and great with customers and colleagues alike.

This is a remote position. The hours & schedule for the role are varied during the holiday peak season. Our operation is open 7 days per week and candidates must be available to work one weekend day.

You Will

• Incorporate customer requests, text, and photos into templated designs
• Create polished and professional print-ready proofs with typographic legibility and consistency
• Proofread customer text
• Ensure quality of customer photos
• Recolor and edit images based on customer requests
• Review the work of fellow designers to assess the quality of design and accuracy of edits before sending a digital proof to the customer
• Collaborate with customers through written communication to modify and finalize designs
• Support Customer Service directly by answering design-related questions
• Resolve escalated customer orders with design-related issues
• Communicate directly with customers pre- and post-order via Salesforce email
  
  

You Are

• Capable of working independently, prioritizing projects, and managing multiple responsibilities
• Eager to continually grow and develop your skills
  
  

You Have

• At least 3+ years of experience in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop
• Proficient knowledge of Google Suite
• Service and customer expectation management skills
• Experience executing the principles of typography and print design
• Proficient knowledge of wedding etiquette
• Clear, concise, and professional verbal and written communication
• Strong interpersonal skills
  
  

Bonus If You Also Have

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Freelance design work and client interaction experience
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software
• Fine art skills (watercolor painting, illustration, calligraphy, hand-lettering)
• Pre-press and/or press experience
• Experience with letterpress printing
• Experience working with customers in a luxury retail environment
