Seasonal Creative Producer

Job Description

The NFL Media Design Group is seeking a Creative Producer to lead production of graphics and other design-based assets for early-morning programming. This person will immerse themselves in the production and logistic details of each project, serving as a communication hub between internal and external collaborators while overseeing the successful execution of all deliverables.

Beginning in late-July, this assignment will be overseeing East Coast morning programming from our offices in Inglewood, CA, which will likely require late night / early morning working hours.

The role will report directly to the Sr. Director of Graphics.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point-of-contact for Production Leaders, facilitating design and animation requests for daily programming that comply with provided brand guides and best practices.
  • Ensure Sales executions provided (or co-created) with dayside Producers are appropriately executed on-air.
  • Be adaptable to feedback from Sr. Producers and Art Directors as the show creative, production and budget needs evolve.
  • Create and maintain project schedules related to longer term development as it emerges throughout the season.
  • Actively participate in problem-solving, balancing each project’s technical, logistic or content needs with our goal of developing innovative and creative ways to tell stories with design and. Animation
  • Clearly communicating daily and long-term project expectations with a partnered artist.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years working in creative production, with demonstrated experience working with production leaders and directing artists.
  • Able to accommodate non-standard work hours, holidays and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

  • College Degree
  • Experience managing Adobe Media Suite and Maxon C4D-based projects
  • Previous experience as a Creative Producer or Associate Producer.

  • Proven ability to think big by providing clear and practical plans to deliver on team goals.
  • Ability to build talent and help identify diverse candidates both within and outside the team.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and message appropriate context when delegating tasks, while providing consistent support and feedback.
  • A working knowledge of Control Room workflows and Playback devices.
  • A working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, AE and Premiere.
  • Familiarity with a broad range of digital graphic file formats and their appropriate applications.

Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
