Role Responsibilities

• Understand business objectives and align SEO strategy to meet these objectives and goals

• Conduct extensive reviews and provide recommendations to enhance website standing in natural search listings.

• Identify and map keywords to guide content development strategy 

• Provide strategic and technical directions for web analytics solution implementation

• Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization

• Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations

• Develop and implement link building strategy

• Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords

• Optimizing copy and landing pages for search engine optimization

• Perform ongoing keyword research including the discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities

• Research and implement content recommendations for organic SEO success

• Develop link building and outreach/public relation strategies for clients

• Identify schema markup opportunities to enhance search engine visibility and rich snippets.

• Work with Web Dev team to fix crawl errors, core web vitals and other technical SEO needs

• Work with Content Marketing team to develop and promote impactful SEO content

• Reporting and analytics, including data analysis and creating monthly performance reports

• Stay on top of search trends and algorithm updates that might impact site performance

• Educate colleagues on SEO best practices, expectations, and value of SEO efforts

The candidate needs to be a leader in developing innovative ways of improving client rankings and visibility in search engines and be able to execute and enhance the SEO/SEM marketing approach. This role will be responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building, and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks.


Candidates should possess a thorough understanding of the search engine marketing industry, ranging from day-to-day tasks (keyword research and analysis, site audits, content audits, etc) to defining and implementing strategic components (SEO reviews, user analysis, keyword targeting models).



Candidate Qualifications:

• 5+ years relevant SEO experience with proven track record of impactful campaigns

• Expert-level understanding of technical and content elements that impact organic search performance rankings

• In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.)

• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints

• Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms

• Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field is preferred

• Experience using Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, Moz and other SEO tools

• Experience working with AI tools for production efficiency and positive SEO impact

• Experience working within WordPress is highly preferred

• High level of analytical and critical thinking skills as well as creative problem skills

• Working knowledge of PPC, social media, email marketing and web development is a big plus
