Job Description:

Sr Scrum Master

Global Pharmaceutical Company

Mulpitas, CA/San Jose, CA area – onsite 2-3 days per week, other days remote

Long Term

Current/prior Pharmaceutical industry experience is needed (gxp)

exp with med tech, med devices, and understanding of csv and gxp applications is needed

Exp working with Jira and/or MS Project is a plus

Experience with RTE (release train engineering) is a plus

Exp with SAFe5 Agile is a plus

Project will be around data migration, the group you are working in will be IT shared services and the manager supports all of the data in JnJ. Project will be around gxp applications with major upgrades and installs leftover from project diamond

Need someone who is a strong BA/PM/Scrum Master who can write user stories, lead Sprints, organized, gives accurate and timely status reports, and can work independently, but also collaboratively with cross functional teams.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a 5 years of scrum master experience in fast-paced delivery environments required.
• Experience in a health care environment (Consumer, Pharma, Medical Devices) is preferred
• At least one year experience with Agile Development techniques (Scrum, XP, Kanban, etc.) is required.
• Two years of experience as a Certified Professional Scrum Master or Certified Scrum Master is required.
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
• Excellent organization, planning and communication skills.
• Proven experience working with and driving performance of cross-functional teams (i.e. development, product management, production, QA, etc.).
• A track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. Prior experience with Jira and Confluence/HipChat
• Experience playing the Scrum Master role in for a software development team in a GxP environment that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory is required.
• Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
• GxP software implementation is required
• Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.)
• Previous of SDLC documentation experience is required
