Scientific Analyst
We are seeking a PhD-level scientific analyst to join a team of lawyers in an international law firm, and their supporting PhD scientists. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing scientific literature and communicating this information to non-scientists. The ideal candidate has a broad scientific background, and is familiar with fields such as biology, biochemistry, genetics, toxicology, pharmacology, immunology, and epidemiology.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and analyzing scientific data regarding diseases and conditions such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, respiratory disease, and addiction, and identifying new and developing issues (as well as key researchers) in each of these fields.
- Analyzing and interpreting data for the legal team, in both written and oral form
- Staying abreast of scientific developments in relevant fields, and communicating these developments to the legal team
Requirements:
- PhD
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work both and collaboratively and independently
