Job Description
The Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA's) will be performing therapies, recording the notes of each visit, and following up with their patients;
The SLPA will be empowered to build their schedule with a Supervisor, and maintain it consistently;
The SLPA will be given the tools (software/program) to facilitate the secretarial needs of their schedules (i.e., confirming appointments), and will be expected to have computer and smartphone literacy for this reason;
This role will be school-based and will require travel between one main school and a couple of surrounding daycares, which are no more than 10 minutes away from each other;
The SLPA will meet with their Supervisor at least once a month and work on therapy strategies.
Education/Certificates
B.S. in Communications Disorders, or a similar degree;
License from the State of Florida.

Skills
Bilingual (English, Spanish);
Computer literacy;
Smartphone literacy.
Required Work Experience
At least 1 year working with children
Responsibilities
Employ therapy proficiently;
Maintain a consistent caseload of patients;
Organize your own schedule;
Use the software and programs provided;
Work with parents/guardians of the patient.
