Role Highlights:
Engage and Support: Provide social work services to a close-knit middle school community with a manageable caseload of around 20 students
Collaborative Environment: Work alongside two other social workers and two counselors, ensuring ample support and collaboration opportunities
Proactive Interventions: Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to address social and emotional needs
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student success and positive outcomes
Inclusive Support: Offer proactive group sessions, 1:1 support, and family outreach to create a nurturing environment for students
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
Additional Duties: Engage in additional responsibilities as needed to support the school community
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work
Valid state licensure as a School Social Worker (PEL)
Experience working with middle school students and diverse populations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
