We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team. In this role, you will support schools across Maryland remotely, collaborating closely with educators, administrators, and parents to enhance students' academic, social, and emotional well-being. This position operates on a 1099 independent contractor basis.
Responsibilities
Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to identify students' academic, social, and emotional needs.
Work collaboratively with school teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Provide remote counseling and intervention services to students.
Assist in crisis prevention and intervention efforts.
Attend virtual meetings and consultations with parents, teachers, and administrators.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records.
Stay current with state and federal regulations pertaining to special education.
Qualifications
Master's or Doctorate degree in School Psychology.
Maryland School Psychologist License or eligibility for licensure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Familiarity with virtual assessment tools and technology.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a school setting.
