Job Expectations

  • Counsel individually and in groups with students and parents on academic and personal matters
  • Assist in testing, evaluating and assessing students
  • Assist with student academic program planning
  • Work cooperatively administration and teachers to identify and resolve student issues, needs and problems
  • Collaborate with teachers to offer counseling lessons and needed services

Qualifications

  • Minimum of Master's degree and Tennessee teaching license with appropriate counseling endorsement (087, 487) required
  • Teaching and/or school counseling experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of the "Tennessee School Counseling Model Framework"
