Position Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Administrative Assistant in the School of Education, Leadership, Health, and Humanities. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation of our school by providing comprehensive administrative support.
Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of administrative tasks with autonomy and discernment.
Coordinate events, facilitate setup, and assist in orientation for faculty.
Maintain updated web information and assist with course scheduling.
Manage office supplies and equipment, including ordering and organization.
Serve as the main point of contact for current and prospective students.
Liaise between school programs and other campus departments.
Provide general office support and reception duties.
Assist with student advising and registration inquiries.
Hire, train, and supervise student workers.
Coordinate logistics for the Summer Language Institute (SLI) program.
Assist with marketing efforts and communication with SLI participants.
Maintain program records, assist with contracts, and ensure compliance.
Minimum Requirements
Three years of office experience, including lead work responsibility.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general bookkeeping.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in written communication and public contact roles.
Familiarity with Adobe, Workday, and online systems.
Previous experience in an educational environment.

Physical Demands

Must be willing to attend occasional off-site training programs.
Flexibility to work additional hours as needed, including occasional weekends.
Successful completion of a pre-employment background check required.
