About the job:

Kent is looking for a Scheduler/Planner to be based in Houston, TX Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise team of planners on a long term Client Program
  • Present Program schedule and progress results to Project Management and Client
  • Attain required planning and scheduling information from engineering disciplines and functions
  • Collaborate with various global engineering centers and ensure understanding of schedule needs
  • Help the program Management with resource loading / planning
  • Lead the integration of project schedule activities
  • Identify constraints and the effect on project schedule.
  • Monitor, review, and report critical path and schedule performance.
  • Propose alternatives for schedule improvement to the project team
  • Responsible for leading the development and review of schedule recovery plans
  • Proficient in earned value measurement planning, tracking, and forecasting

In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.

Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience: Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 5 years Planning/Scheduling experience within Oil & Gas Industry
  • Proficient with Primavera P6, Excel and preferably PowerBI
  • Experience with critical path method analysis/technique with Primavera.
  • Experience working within challenging Client Programs
  • Effective reporting and communication skills.

Communication:

  • Ability to communicate effectively across location, region and corporate to accomplish objectives
