Sanitation/Cleaning Technician

Recruiting Firm Riderflex has been hired by our client, Calibre Manufacturing, to find their Sanitation/Cleaning Technician!

Title: Sanitation/Cleaning Technician

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Reports to: Supervisor

Compensation: $20/hour

Shift: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Overtime required as needed.)

Position Summary

The Sanitation/Cleaning Technician supports the de-powdering and de-greasing cleaning processes of manufacturing machines, parts, and equipment. Utilizing approved chemicals, ultrasonic baths, and sanitation equipment, the Sanitation/Cleaning Technician works to remove powder and grease from complex machine

parts by performing precision wet cleaning processes. This role requires diligence, patience, attention to detail skills, and strong hands-on capabilities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the cleaning of all machine parts and equipment, which meets quality, safety, and industry requirements
  • Responsible for the greasing and staging of machine parts after cleaning and drying process had been completed
  • Responsible for maintaining any documentation related to the cleaning processes
  • Responsible for adhering to PPE requirements in the Cleaning Room and throughout the building
  • Responsible for maintaining proper organization and cleanliness of the Cleaning Room
  • Responsible for completing any additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor
  • Collaborate with Quality Technicians for post cleaning inspections
  • Develop cleaning solutions for recurring issues or resolve the issues with new or current products
  • Develop, document, and maintain internal cleaning know-how, methodology, and processes
  • Identify potential process improvements and develop the steps of improvement and turn them in to the Supervisor
  • Collaborate with Supervisor on implementing new approved processes
