Sales Training Specialist

Purpose

Deliver outstanding sales and service results on a consistent basis; as well as attract, develop, and maintain industry-leading talent

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Delivers engaging virtual (web-based), live, and on-the-job training content
• Partners effectively with subject matter experts to develop a robust training curriculum for various roles within the sales organization
• Maintain training curriculum to ensure sustained organizational impact.
• Inspires frontline employees and sales leaders through real-time coaching.
• Collaborates and communicates with sales teams to ensure learning needs are being met
• Maintain records of training activities and employee progress; monitor and measure effectiveness of programs
• Determines training needs by consulting with sales leaders, observing sales encounters, and analyzing sales results
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining a personal network

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong multi-tasking and project management skills
• Enthusiastic team player with a drive to create a positive work environment
• Motivates and inspires teams through training, facilitation, and providing feedback
• Ability to manage the full training cycle (in-person or web-based)

Preferred Skills

• 1+ years of insurance sales experience
• 2+ years of sales training experience
• Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills
• Hands-on experience with e-learning platforms
