About The Team

The Senior Sales Trainer is responsible for driving consistent, reliable growth and success of our sales organization through effective delivery of learning programs that build and develop high-performing sales leaders and teams. The Senior Sales Trainer will leverage technology and innovative tools, coupled with active performance coaching, to deliver new hire and embedded base programs to support the entire employee learning journey. As a valued business partner, the Senior Sales Trainer works cross-functionally to identify learning/performance gaps and to create, implement, and reinforce targeted learning solutions. The Senior Sales Trainer anticipates change and actively partners with leaders and peers throughout the organization to deliver results that are aligned with strategic goals.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Deliver exceptional onboarding and ongoing training as required. Deliver advanced sales skills/products, leadership, managerial initial training (as necessary), cross-functional and other training sessions.
  • Prepare for, attend, and complete all trainer certifications using recognized and accepted adult learning methodologies and practices.
  • Plan and execute pre-course activities to align organizational/learner backgrounds and instructional environment needs with course objectives.
  • Select, implement, and facilitate using multiple and appropriate delivery methods and media.
  • Establish and maintain instructor credibility including: core values, critical thinking skills, thought leadership, business acumen, delivery competence, professionalism, and content expertise.
  • Establish and maintain a safe learner-centered environment.
  • Develop, select, and administer appropriate assessments in compliance with recognized and accepted measurement principles.
  • Evaluate the success of course design, one's own preparation and delivery, and use results to continuously improve self and team effectiveness.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure business alignment: actively participate in and lead project meetings/new initiatives/launches. Research, gather, and compile relevant insight, feedback, and data for business partners.
  • Deliver and support effective coaching and feedback tools for leaders, front line employees, and L&D peers.
  • Conduct observations (ex: call monitoring, floor observation, ride-along) to understand the strategy, processes, culture, functions, and needs of the business.
  • Conduct coaching sessions with leaders to increase the performance and professional development of their sales teams, support learning programs and drive alignment. Participate in key stakeholder and leadership meetings as needed.
  • Adhere to company guidelines for the team and individual administrative responsibilities (expense, travel, corporate policy, roster management, timesheets, reports, etc).

What You Bring

  • Deep understanding of the banking and payments industry, Demonstrated success in sales roles within the payments industry.
  • Technical Proficiency and familiarity with banking and payment technologies, software, and tools used in the industry.
  • Sales Experience, Proven Sales Record: Demonstrated success in sales roles or sales trainer roles.
  • Sales Experience, Understanding of Sales Processes: Expertise in various sales methodologies and techniques.
  • Motivational Leadership, Capable of inspiring and motivating sales teams to achieve their goals.
  • Interpersonal Skills, Strong ability to build relationships with trainees and other stakeholders.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to convey complex information clearly and engagingly.
  • Coaching Skills: Strong ability to mentor and develop sales teams, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Curriculum Design: Experience in designing and developing sales training programs and materials.
  • Evaluation Skills: Proficient in assessing the effectiveness of training programs and making necessary adjustments.
  • Feedback Mechanism: Establishing continuous feedback loops to ensure training is impactful and aligned with business goals.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt training methods to different learning styles and evolving industry trends.
  • Innovative Thinking: Creative in developing new training techniques and materials to keep the content fresh and relevant.

Worldpay is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $105,070.00 - $176,520.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
