Position Summary: As the Sales Supervisor, you are responsible for supporting the management team in performing functional tasks as assigned. You will provide guidance to the sales team while supporting a positive store environment. Supervisors act as role models for the sales associates by exemplifying support service behaviors and completing of tasks in their specified areas of responsibilities. The Sales Supervisor contributes to a high performing team and consistently delivers a best-in-class customer experience. This role will be primarily focused on connecting with customers and employees, to assist in achieving store performance goals. As an important member of the management team, the Sales Supervisor reinforces performance expectations by consistently displaying and exceeding the Brand vision and surpassing individual and store goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Responsibilities:
Guides processes and completes work based on management direction for functional areas within the store.
Ensures the consistency of operational processes and execution.
Assists the management team to achieve performance goals and execute standard operating procedures.
Supports the store management to ensure work tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Executes initiatives designed to drive customer satisfaction and business efficiencies.
Reads communications and interacts with store management to be knowledgeable of all current initiatives, priorities, and business metrics.
Acts based upon direction from General Management and collaborates effectively with employees.
Guide work activities during the day, inclusive of before and after normal store operating hours when a manager may not be present.
Complete any store opening & closing tasks in the absence of a Manager, or as required by the business.
Special Projects:
Participate and assist in the execution of any in-store or off-site events.
REQUIREMENTS
Availability:
Open & flexible availability, including but not limited to evenings, overnights, and weekends as well as Holidays.
Experience:
6+ Months of Management experience
1+ year(s) of retail/apparel experience
Experienced in a commission environment is a plus but not required
Skills/Abilities:
Strong Communication skills
Natural Leader
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at one time
Ability to lift and move 30lbs
Ability to perform standard tasks that are related to retail operations including but not limited to, bending, twisting, and climbing ladders/step stools
Ability to stand and walk for a prolonged period
