JOB OVERVIEW:

The Sr. Sales & Operations Technology Specialist identifies and prioritizes the functional and user experience needs of our core Sales & Service tools. This role works closely with the Sales Operations & Technology leadership team, Sales, Corporate IS, Service Operations, and CRM Support teams to develop, roll out, and support new releases of our Sales & Service applications and Sales Enablement Technology solutions. Responsibilities include user training, effective communication, leveraging internal partnerships, and providing technical support. The focus is on Field Sales and Service applications, but may also include Telesales tools, across both the Dental and Medical divisions. This position supports the Dental & Medical Group's technology strategic initiatives and participation in special projects.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • User Training and Technical Support:
  • Develop and manage training materials, content, and collateral such as presentations, user guides, brochures, and videos to assist sales representatives and managers in utilizing our Sales/Service applications.
  • Oversee the upload and management of training content in the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Co-Lead new hire training on the full scope of our Sales/Service tools.
  • Travel to conventions, sales meetings, and company sites to provide training, on-site demonstrations, webinars, and technical support.
  • Serve as a technology leader by answering sales representatives' questions about our Sales/Service tools and troubleshooting technical issues. Act as the first level of support for technical issues and escalate complex problems to the Ecommerce and IT Development team as needed.
  • Review Ecommerce support help logs to determine areas needing refresher training.
  • Salesforce CRM Technical Support:
  • Play a crucial role in all aspects of supporting the Salesforce CRM platform.
  • Collaborate closely with Salesforce Administrators and CRM Leadership across both Dental and Medical divisions to develop new CRM functionalities and enhance existing features, create reports, and test new functionalities.
  • Spearhead the management of the GetCRMHelp mailbox by creating new user profiles, investigating and troubleshooting application errors, and providing timely support to all end-users.
  • Lead the development and delivery of Salesforce training, including new user training, best practice training, and the rollout of new features and functionalities.
  • Sales/Service Tool Functionality Enhancement:
  • Lead research and analysis of new technology to meet the challenging demands of our business, including performing SWOT analysis and presenting findings to Sales Leadership.
  • Assist with the evolution of our Sales/Service tools for both internal and external customers, including mobile technologies such as tablet and smartphone apps.
  • Communicate detailed needs of our Sales/Service tools to both Dental and Medical Leadership, provide input for requirement prioritization, and support these recommendations with sound logic and detailed documentation.
  • Seek input to identify requirements by working closely with sales representatives, sales management, e-commerce support desk, and sales support. Travel with sales representatives as needed to identify requirements in a real-world setting.
  • Oversee the Knowledge Management System, ensuring articles are relevant and up-to-date across departments in both Dental and Medical divisions.
  • New Sales/Service Tool Releases:
  • Drive Change Management and utilization of Sales & Operations technology.
  • Work closely with the Sales & Operations Technology Manager on coding for new releases, filling in and validating detailed design aspects.
  • Seek external input to ensure detailed designs meet business requirements, including outreach to sales representatives and other key stakeholders.
  • Test alpha and beta software, provide detailed feedback on bugs and functional shortcomings to the Corporate IS team and both Dental & Medical Group Technology management, and organize sales representative participation in beta testing.
  • Special Projects and Additional Duties:
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.


SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Understanding of the NADG

• If no direct selling experience, experience working directly with sales reps

• Agile Project Management skills

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Typically 3 to 5 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience.


PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.


TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.


The posted range for this position is $61,085 to $106,898 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.


This position is eligible for a [bonus/incentive] not reflected in the posted range.
