Position Summary:

This is a Remote role and the candidate needs to be within 30 miles of the Costco Corporate offices in Issaquah, Washington.

This role is the primary resource for operational functions associated with driving revenue and margin for Costco. Key functions will include new item quotes/set up, coordination of Costco’s required audit and QA processes, purchase order execution, POS trend & competitive analysis, project management, trade spend management, daily monitoring of overall business trends and operational performance. This position plays an important role monitoring real time business issues, interpreting data and suggesting

immediate action plans to address issues or take advantage of opportunities. The role will work with Cuisinart internal cross functional resources and Costco personnel to ensure business issues are communicated and acted upon in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete required Costco tasks for new programs, including Item Agreements, coordinate QA and audit processes with internal teams & Costco teams, and input required information into Costco’s BPMS system.
  • Manage tracking of new item development for Costco with internal Product Development Teams.
  • Support Costco e-commerce business by partnering with the Cuisinart Creative Team to obtain product copy, images, and A+ content, and submit to Costco for review, approval, and posting.
  • Monitor Costco.com drop ship business for all categories by ensuring inventory availability, manage inventory feeds, and tracking PO’s.
  • Work with outside vendor to develop product displays, as needed.
  • Coordinate and track sales performance to promotional expectations with National Account Team and help formulate a future shipment plan based on the results
  • Work closely Sales Managers to maintain trade spending records and tracking.
  • Participate is frequent meetings with Costco Buying Teams and Inventory Control teams regarding business updates, new products, POS, future planning, etc.
  • Assist Sales team partners to contribute to the annual budget planning process
  • Maintain and distribute various trackers such as assortment files, competitive item & promotional tracking, Costco.com reviews, etc.
  • Coordinate customers’ domestic/import orders with supply chain both in planning and availability dates
  • Work with Accounting reconciling customers monthly/quarterly vendor income true-up.
  • Partner with the National Account Team and product/marketing teams to coordinate and build customer presentations and monthly business reviews.
  • Quickly develop a working knowledge of the assigned business from both a product and consumer basis for our product and our competitions
  • Communicate updates to internal partners.
  • Availability to drop off/pick up samples at Costco’s corporate office as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience working on, or supporting Costco business, including working in Costco’s BPMS system.
  • 3-5 years of experience in analytics/financial role within the consumer products industry.
  • Ability to draw insights across multiple complex data sets and incorporate into decision making
  • Must have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in the MS Office Suite & SAP.
  • Strong communication, organization, project management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects/initiatives, including communications to management and retail buying teams.
  • Must be detail oriented, able to set priorities, and juggle several tasks with a positive attitude
  • Ability to anticipate and/or identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Ability to travel roughly 4 to 8 times per year

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (if needed).
